Product construction and operation

A valve limit switch box reports one or more defined rotary positions to a control system. A visual indicator shows the local position, while internal cams operate electrical switches or sensors. It provides feedback and does not supply the driving force that moves the valve.

Configuration features

• Local visual indicator for the actuator position.
• Adjustable cam arrangement sets the switching points.
• Mechanical switches and proximity sensors require different electrical interfaces.

Selection and installation details

Check that the box shaft and bracket align with the actuator without binding. Select contacts for the control circuit load, or specify sensor voltage, wiring and logic for a proximity version. Feedback can indicate actuator position without proving the internal valve is unobstructed, so define the intended monitoring function. Set and verify the cams with the valve at its actual end positions during commissioning.

Check both mechanical and control compatibility before installation. A matching exterior or similar part description does not confirm interchangeable ratings, porting or wiring.
