Product construction and operation

A sanitary-pattern pneumatic ball valve uses smooth tube connections and a rotary ball to provide automated switching in a compatible process line. Two-way and three-way configurations serve different flow-routing requirements, while clamp geometry and tube dimensions determine the mating connection.

Selection and installation details

The word sanitary describes the connection and construction family; it does not by itself establish a hygienic certification or suitability for every food or pharmaceutical process. Define the required surface finish, elastomer or seat grade, cleaning chemicals and cleaning temperature. For three-way versions, provide the port map, drainability requirements and permitted flow direction. Clamp dimensions must be matched rather than inferred from nominal pipe size.

Review supply pressure at the equipment while it is operating, not only the compressor setting. Select accessories and the loss-of-air response for the complete assembly.
