A pneumatic diaphragm control valve combines a linear valve trim with a diaphragm actuator and a matching positioner.
Send your requirements for the proposed configuration.
A pneumatic diaphragm control valve combines a linear valve trim with a diaphragm actuator and a matching positioner. The positioner adjusts actuator air pressure so the valve follows the control command, while the trim determines the relationship between travel and flow.
Control-valve sizing requires more than matching the pipe diameter. The proposed trim must provide the required controllable flow range at the available differential pressure. Include potential noise, cavitation, flashing or erosive solids in the review. A spring mechanism does not by itself prove the final assembly is fail-open or fail-closed: valve action, linkage and control arrangement must all be matched.
Review supply pressure at the equipment while it is operating, not only the compressor setting. Select accessories and the loss-of-air response for the complete assembly.
Compatible process regulation where a linear control valve and diaphragm actuator suit the duty.
Include the medium, normal and maximum pressure and temperature, connection dimensions, required operating time and quantity. For an existing installation, add identification photographs and the current assembly drawing.
Confirm the final assembly drawing, materials, ratings and control documentation for the proposed configuration before ordering. Product photographs show representative configurations.
